Learn the art of jodo, mastering techniques with the short staff known as the jo.

Seitei Kihon (Tandoku dosa - solo)

1. Honte Uchi (本手打) - normal strike

2. Gyakute Uchi (逆手打) - reverse strike

3. Hiki Otoshi (引落打) - downward strike

4. Kaeshi Zuki (返突) - low weapon thrust

5. Gyakute Zuki (逆手突) - high weapon thrust

6. Maki Otoshi (巻落) - envelope, drop down

7. Kuri Tsuke (繰付) - guide and stick to weapon

8. Kuri Hanashi (繰離) - guide and let go

9. Tai Atari (体当) - crush the body

10. Tsuki Hazushi Uchi (突外打) - deflect a thrust, strike
